Office of the President

"I'm glad to have been a Senator for the past year, and have advocated for the continuity of our student government throughout that year. I'm also proud to be a representative of the Osage Nation, and for the opportunity at representing all of us students!"

Meet Carter!

"I'm Carter! You've probably seen me around campus before with WellPAC or Housing or through my work as a senator on ASFLC. I've been a senator on ASFLC for a year and believe that I'm the only candidate running who is ready to address the issues that the student body faces in 2022.

We're coming out of a global pandemic and we've got to make sure that we're setting ourselves up for the best success possible. This means addressing the decrease in mental health by providing monetary resources to our on-campus sites to increase and expand access and treatment in both traditional and non-traditional ways. Further, addressing the rising student fees! Every dollar counts, and I think it is time for a student government that actually represents the majority of our campus and stands up for what they want to see. Let's work to lower those student fees together!

My ultimate reason for running for ASFLC President is that I know we've got a real opportunity to create some fundamental changes in the way that our institution works. You and I have both been hearing about what's broken. Let's make sure we fix it on April 4th-6th when you vote for me & Raina Schmidt for ASFLC President/Vice-President!"
